Shanee (Shanroxxx) Bailey was born and raised in Toronto. Throughout high school, Shanee Bailey proved to be ambitious with her commitments to various clubs and organizations, like the announcement team, leading Black History month, as well as prom and yearbook committees. By the age of 16, Bailey had become a full fledged promoter, advertising for all age events in Toronto. With her acceptance into Carleton University in 2010, Bailey vowed to make sure that she always stood out, and to be as involved as she could in order to pursue her dreams. She was initiated into Phi Sigma Sigma, a prestigious sorority on campus, and gained memberships to the Ghanian Students Association and Nigerian Students Association. She ran in elections for positions of leadership at her school, and has continued to assist the Carleton University community with the Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Hall for the duration of its Black History Month while maintaining presidential standing for the Caribbean Students Association. During her time in Phi Sigma Sigma, she was elected the rewarding position of Social Chair, where she planned all sorority social events (formals, semi-formals, mixers, etc.) throughout the year. On August 1st, 2014 Shanee joined Breakout Squad, which is a group of dedicated DJs, promoters and now event planners that all share the same vision in developing the party scene in Ottawa.
